Relativity Space—an aerospace manufacturing company—has committed to expanding its operations on the Space Coast, bringing substantial capital investments and creating thousands of high-skill, high-wage jobs for Floridians.

The Gulf Coast migration could soon see an extra boost as newly-minted millionaires from tech IPOs like SpaceX — and eventually Anthropic and OpenAI — move their capital and residencies to tax-friendly Florida.

With a $1.8 trillion economy, Florida is now the 14th largest in the world, surpassing Australia and Mexico. Florida’s economy grew 6.3 percent over the past year, moving the state closer to its goal of becoming one of the world’s 10 largest economies by 2030.
